Dr. Preeti Jani brings over 30 years of global optometric experience to her work, but it’s her compassion and patient-first mindset that make her care truly memorable. She values clinical insight with genuine connection.
A Thoughtful Approach to Patient Care
Dr. Jani believes that great care begins with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs, from infants attending their first eye exam to seniors managing complex eye conditions. Her areas of focus include pediatric optometry, myopia control, dry eye disease, and specialty contact lens fittings.
She’s particularly known for helping families navigate more complex or hard-to-fit visual cases with confidence and care. Grounded in the values of reason, respect, and responsibility, Dr. Jani’s care is thoughtful, educational, and built around lasting relationships.
A Life Rooted in Family, Curiosity, & Community
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jani enjoys playing golf, singing, and spending time with her family and close friends. Originally trained in India and licensed in New Zealand and Canada, she brings a rich international perspective to her practice.
She is an active member of the GTA Indians and Knights of Columbus, and was honoured to serve as the optometrist for the 2015 Pan American Games. Her warmth, cultural awareness, and curiosity continue to shape her approach in and outside of patient care.
